another spec thread

Hi,

My friend has asked me to sort him out a pc. Would be used mainly for surfing, but if possible he'd like to game on it a little (command and conquer/rome doubt he'd played crysis etc as he has an xbox).

OS will be windows 7 and he already has a monitor (albeit a 15" unsure of max res - also doesnt want to buy a bigger monitor!!).

Any idea of a cheap option that would last him for a while.

Geil 4gb
Antec high current gamer 520w psu
Cheapest optical drive (re writer) I think its OCUK
Antec 300 case or coler master 430
Cheapest 500gb HDD ( seagate barracuda i think)
ATI 5770 (try and find a cheap 4870 or 4890 if you can)

Check hom much that comes to and if he can spend more come back and il suggest some changes If he doesnt have that much come back and il suggest some downgrades
