Another Starcraft Hack

It looks as if my Battlenet account has been hacked, I can't log in when I startup Starcraft 2. Haven't played this for almost 6 months now, I think.

When I started it, there was a massive download of several gigabytes and the game started up with the picture I've seen on hardcopy box of the Heart of the Swarm expansion pack. Weird.

Anyway, I've never been hacked before. Exciting! I'm not particularly bothered as I don't play this very much anyway. Just for fun I just tried to recover my account, and it looks as if either I'm particularly stupid, or there's something else wrong. That's where the real fun started.

I've had the Battlenet password recovery link successfully sent to my e-mail, but whenever I try to navigate my way through the recovery process, I get dumped back to the main support page after 2 or 3 steps.

I thought there must be some browser problem, but the same thing happens with IE, Firefox, and Chrome.

At the same time the Battlenet messages I get with each unsuccessful login attempt seem to become more and more upset with me, so now I can't tell if I'm a mild nuisance or barred for life. Not that I mind.

Is the process always this awkward? I've had far less challenging text adventures. Or am I missing something obvious?

Get an authenticator! :D

Call them on skype, you'll get it sorted. Unless you're not bothered.

If you give me your sort code, account number, address, mothers maiden name, passport number and the three digits on the back of your credit card, ill look into it for you.

Lol.

Do NOT do this of course.

Get an authenticator

So it's not a starcraft hack, it's you losing your battle.net account? Get an authenticator next time.

Its time to start acting suspiciously around people you know.

Its got to be someone you know, no one could steal your account using the internet.
