Another Steam Question

I bought this awful, awful game (hardcopy from a store) a few days back and now I want it deleted from my steam library completely, so that it doesn't show up in the list any more. I deleted local files etc. but I can't get it to disappear from the list, it just sits there leering at me, marked 'not installed'.
Does anyone know how to get rid of it?

You need to set favourites and exclude said game from that list.

or just select "installed" and it only shows games that are actually installed or downloading.

You can submit a request to have the game removed from your list though via Steam support. They won't refund it though.

Out of interest, what was the game? It must be truly awful if you want to banish all traces from steam :eek:

I'm holding onto my rubbish, hoping one day Ill be able to trade them (reduced rate I imagine) for money off a better game.

It's called Naval War: Arctic Circle, a naval strategy game.

I've been a Harpoon fan for years, and I was hoping that this might be something along the same lines.

lol... I have that... got it in a bundle somewhere, so can't have paid more than a pound for it..

Very very pricey though. But massively better than Naval War which is an appalling game.

I have that from the original 'big-box' release, when games had manuals that you can leave on the coffee table, but for some reason I can't get it to run on Windows 7, even in compatibility mode. :mad:

I got it on the steam sale, along with sub command/dangerous waters etc, for 3quid i think

Runs fine on steam
