Another temp question!

ok, That was the temps at overclocking @ 2.4ghz.

If I bought the Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro CPU Cooler would that lower the temps?

Check the cooler is properly seated but does sound like a bad ihs. Overclocking doesnt cause temp rises - its the voltage increases that are needed for overclocking.

ok, this is kinda wierd. I just overclocked it be 400mhz again and the temps seem fine!

idle : 40c
load : 52c

I think the temps go up during the day when the sun hits my room. Thanks for the feedback!

I havent noticed any change in temp going from 2.6 to 2.78. Although the temp hasnt change, I cant get it passed 2.78 mark

Air and Water cooling is dependent on Ambient temps. Room Hot then the CPU will be hot. About the best method for Air or water is move the case to a well cooled area.

I run mine next to the window and the temps are around 10oC lower on my water setup.

The problem I have is that my pc is near to a radiator, but next to a window! This causes my temps to keep going up and down! My CPU was only 32c when the window was open!
