there is another test on http://www.driverheaven.net/photoshop.php
it tells you how to open image award min of 300meg to cache & how to load the action and the timer built in.
now using the http://www.driverheaven.net/photoshop.php guide set on 300meg cache
i added loading the picture into photoshop
load = 0.6s
CMYK colour conversion = 0.8s
RGB colour conversion = 1.2s
Dust & scratch = 1.3s
Water colour = 12.5s
Texturiser = 1.1s
Stained Glass = 3.5s
Lighten effects = 2.2s
Mosiac tiles = 8.6s
Extrude = 39.9s
Smart Blur = 30.5s
Underpainting = 14.1s
im not sure of the actual how true the photoshop timing is, as from the other thread, the radial blur from that is sub 10sec on the below pc but allways staes 13.1/13.2 on the photoshop timing even using stop watch it differs under 10sec.
again the counting method of photoshop on the Extrude & smart blur does not take as long as photoshop reports 39.9sec and 30.5sec BUT it is still a guide i guess photoshop should be similar to all who take the test.
so if you wish to try this i guess timing is still "another mans where to count from".
thank you to the http://www.driverheaven.net/photoshop.php for this test. it may be for cs2 and cs3 is not the same for timing
above tests im using a 32bit winxp q6600 not clocked 2 gig ram ps cs3.
