Another Upgrading GPU thread

Hey all, current rig

i7 920 @ 3.8
HD 5870
12gig RAM

Was saving for a new rig in the summer, but a friend recommended I buy a Vetex 3 SSD & a new GPU as my CPU is still relevant?

GPU's I was looking at were

Any advice on what card is better? You think I should wait until summer and see what cards are out then? Or perhaps wait and upgrade EVERYTHING next year?

Oh yes, the 7950.. forgot about those. I must admit im more drawn to the green side this upgrade due to abysmal experience with ati drivers... but if the Ati cards are still king in performance.

I think I need to research more about 670 vs 7950 methinks

Wow a 7950 is around £100 cheaper.. thats pretty nice already.

Looking at the specs for a 7950 its saying its PCI-E 3 , im pretty sure my P6T SE is PCI-E 2.. so it wont work ?

One quick thing ive notcied about the 7950's is the fact that most of the ones I am looking at only have the one DVI port.. im running a dual screen desktop atm both using DVI. Is there a way around this?

My current XFX 5870 has the single fan on it and it over heats like a boss..
im slightly drawn to the multiple fan cards

Oh I didnt realise there was a WF version.. I was going to get the 670 WF.. Cheers man
