another water cooling spec

need a few ideas on some custom kit, can anyone recomend some odds and ends for me...

been looking at the alphacool blocks, are they any good ? had a look at quite a few others but theres no way im going near a block with a perspex top

pumps not sure where to even start with this, is it dependant on the type of rad i use ??(pressure,bends,length of tubing etc) as until my new kit arrives im not sure what size of rad ill be able to fit inside the case

That case looks tiny, you will probably have to mount lots of parts externally. Why wont you use blocks with plexi tops?

the idea is to create an external pump/rad box to sit ontop of my aopen xc cube
and have the the tubing run straight down to the cpu block

just need some nice feet to raise the expansion box up high enough to get a decent air flow over the rad which will be mounted inside(if i can find the right size to fit)

might sound a bit mad but should look damn nice when finished, plus i have a few heat issues at the moment and water is the only way to go
