Another 'What Projector' thread

I know nothing about projectors.

I'm looking to set one up in our out house. It will be projecting onto a wall 6m away. I'm not looking to spend too much (who is!) but i've no idea how much they cost (£300+) so i'm all ears.

What sites are good to ask about projectors?
What sites are good to read about projectors?

depending on your budget, the panasonic ae900u is a fantastic pj. pick one up round 950 quid now.

however the benq w100 looks very very nice for roughly £500 visit link for review and pictures of this beauty. lamp life is 4000 hours on this which is a lot for a projector.

this one is not an hd projector but judging from this reveiw looks an absolute steal for the price. if you are going hd you are looking at about £800+, but you can get a stunning movie/gaming experience from lower res projectors.

dont spent any less than about £400 on a projector as you will be dissapointed. and make sure its specifically aimed for home theatres and not office's

just do a search on google for best projectors. if you have the mony though, the panny is absolutely gorgeus. i havent seen the w100 in action so cant really comment on first hand experience.
