late 70's early 80's saturday morning programme. A brain in a glass/plastic clear dome that spoke, the brain glowed when it spoke.

And i think.......the hero was a small guy who looked after the brain and had a gun that was a sort of fork shaped thing! Handle, two prongs on top that shot a single laser.........

Or was i off my head on 'shrooms?

I spent 20 minutes thinking about this last night.

Was it a cartoon? Puppets? actors?

lots of episodes? American British Asian ? Dubbed Jap crap ?

I keep thinking of Krang from teenage mutant ninja turtles hehehe.

The only other reference to the 70s/80s brain in a jar is some Dr. Who storyline but it wouldn't be that.

It does ring a few bells in my mind too and im about the right age group to have watched it.

was it BBC or ITV ?
 
It was not a cartoon nor dubbed, i don't recall how many episodes there were just that it was saturday morning. I think Island was in the title but not sure, i think it was based on an island too????
