The story is this, In the market for a 20" wide tft soon (Belinea or Phillips)
but gfx is coming 1st sooo which card is going to be best suited at their native resolutions (1680x1050 save ya lookin )

usual games NFS BF2 Q4 and stuff yet to come.
running a amd x2 so shouldnt get bottlenecked

So x1800xt or 7900GT or x1900xt or what?

depends on your budget,
if your loaded, X1900XT-X is best bang for buck at the top end, if your budgets around the £250 mark then the X1800XT 512mb is a steel, but remember, its this week only!!

Agree completely.
Though in between is the PowerColor ATI Radeon X1900 XT 512MB at £317.19*Including VAT

Had an xl briefly and it did ok at 1280x1024 but didnt feel it would cope with widescreen res especially with the prettys on.

Just to add, the x18xl has a fill rate of 8 billion pixels/sec the x18xt 10 billion any idea what the x19 does as a vague comparison?

Budget isnt an issue and neither is vat although with a 190xt/-x my psu might be as its only a 480w tru bloo, adding psu to shopping list
