Yeah got them set nice thanks. Not as good as OSX widget style in my opinion but still good.
That's a limitation of the monitor not the OS.
Tell that to people with disabilities. And how much was 4GB of RAM 5 years ago? Hardly pointless just cutting edge. Times will change.
Who cares, it's one feature in a whole OS, if you don't like it don't use it.
I want on ultra thin OLED touchscreen, hmmmmm.

Anyway - I hear they've scrapped UAC in win7? Anyone confirm and say what they've replaced it with?
Pre-beta software is pre-beta software, doesn't matter if they press have a copy or not. And no they haven't scrapped UAC.
Why does no-one like the side bar???
I like it! the simplicity of it helps a lot (not not a fan of things sprawlled aimlessly oacross the desktop as it just looks untidy) and it provides unity to the desktop of windows (similarly to how linux and osx can be set up).
Besides the mindless bashing of my beloved side bar i cant really see whats so new and improved about this one.... (yeah usual new windows fever but i think this is justifyed)

Currently using this atm and its good!It seems a very polished version of Vista rather than a new OS
I thought thats all people were expecting all along.. Nothing revolutionary, just nice tweaks to Vista to make it even better?
Looks alright from the videos. The finger zooming thing looks rubbish, about as smooth as a peice of sand paper, but i'l never use it, so..
May grab a copy for dual boot and have a little play.
Looks like Media Centre hung, not windows itself.
