My mate is looking for a new system after his Dell setup kicked the bucket last week. Doesn't need HDD, CD drive, keyboard, mouse, monitor or OS and he has a more than adequate PSU already.

Main use will be for playing the latest games and not much else, so big graphics power is a must. Intel i5 750 has been decided on so that's also a necessity. Would be open to future dual GPU configuration so future proofing that one would be ideal.

Budget is £650.

All suggestions welcome. Cheers.

this motherboard does dual cards(crossfire/sli) symmetrically

two 5850 would be better than either!:p

some games dont scale very well with dual cards, plus you might get something called microstutter, a single 5850 now will play everything at high res and settings.
