He could have killed someone, if circumstances had have been a little different he would have. If someone pointed a revolver at your child with one bullet in and pulled the trigger and it didnt go off because it was an empty chamber, would it be 'no big deal' or attempted murder?

Haha ,are you serious?

He won't go to jail I bet you that. Any member of Joe public might have but he certainly won't. Too much power, status, and money will see to that.

I wish people would quit saying this crap.

People rarely get jail time for drink driving. No one died or ended up critically injured so stop waffling on about how average Joe's would be doing jail time. It isn't the case.

Work and save hard Lee, you too could become invincible ;)

Power and status indeed, there's not a decent gentleman's club in the land that would have him or his pal even loitering near the entrance.

Deus ex stretching again. You thought a vote for the bnp was a well reasoned protest so this rubbish isn't too shockingly stretched.

Why do people spout this rubbish?
Joe Public would not go to jail for being two times over (unless death etc resulted).
Four times over could see you jailed.

The law already says what the maximum punishment is so I'm not spouting crap at all.

Go back to running cyclists off the road because they don't pay tax init. You sound like the type.

What is your logic? you are now talking about maximum punishment.

Why do you think there is a scale from minimum to maximum?

If a spot check was to find you over the limit do you think you would get punished to the same extent as someone who was found over the limit at the scene of a crash with dead people strewn allover the pavement?

Your posts lack all common sense.

If you're over the limit then PC Bobby Copper personally escorts you to Strangeways.

It clearly says 'maximum', not 'maximum for Joe Public'. Why don't you find some similar crashes where someone 'Joe Public' was banged up for 6 months for blowing 75mg after a minor prang and come back here afterwards.

I know that "celebrities" are just normal people, but for some reason I always find it very difficult to feel sorry for them when they blow things for themselves.
