Antec 1200 and Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus

I had a Prolimatech Megahalems in an Antec 1200 (L)130mm X (W)74mmX (H)158.7mm, it fitted but i could not use a fan in the side window.

If u have the extra cash then the higher Vram will come in handy and we never know how much new games are going to use but as i said at that res with current games u should be ok with 1280Mb.

one more question does it matter what psu you have i mean will any psu work with botch ati and nvidia?

Check for the power requirements of the GPU you are getting and see if your PSU has enough 6 pin or 8 pin connectors as well!
If you are going to use Antec 1200 you will either have to have extensions for 12V 8-pin ATX cable and may be 24 pin ATX cable as well.
There are very few PSUs with long enough 8-pin ATX cable.

OK lets start again :)
6970 needs 1x6-pin and 1x8-pin PCI-E power, so check the PSU if it has got them.
Not sure about your other hardware so not sure how powerful the PSU should be.

Antec 1200 is a tall case, with the PSU at the bottom and the 8-pin ATX power cable going around & under the mobo tray will need either a PSU with long cables or an extension for the 8-pin (and 24 pin some times)

Ok so the top image is 24-pin ATX, Middle one is 8-Pin PCI-E power with 2-Pin break out part- you need to have 2 of those PCI-E power cables for 6970(one 6 pin and onw 8 pin).
Last image is 8-Pin ATX 12V.

I just measured my PSU which was long enough for an Antec 1200. So the 8-Pin ATX 12V is 65cm long and the 24-Pin ATX is 50cm long.

Edit:
Have not heard of your PSU btw. SO not sure about ability to handle the hardware, regardless if it is a 1000W or not.
