Antec 1200 Dust Question..

Hey people!

Im guessing a lot of peeps have this case as its awesome

However the dust that gatherers at the front of the case (the 3 fans) do any of you guys know any better way to clean them apart from taking the case apart and taking out the filter hoovering then back again..it can be time consuming

It could be cleaned quite easily from the front if it wasnt for the grill!

Any recommendations?

Well, I just see it as a regular thing. Opening the side panel is easy with the thumbscrews, then popping the fans out as they're not actually screwed down to anything. I remove the filters, wash then blowdry them, then I get a hoover and suck out the dust that accumulates inside the case, then a good blow over with the vacuum

Of course, this may not be pratical for everyone to do

But that's just an idea for ya

Hardly needs to be done regularly if the room its in is fairly dust free. Once a month should be plenty, or if you start noticing an increase in temps.

Well tbh I don't measure my temps at all, I just look at the front of the grill and if dust is caked in it which takes about 2-3 weeks to do so, I clean it out.
