I have been running a P182 for a 18months. My CPU would idle at 29c (E8600 last 2 months) Q6600 at 50c (before 2 months ago) mobo temp 56c (P35DQ6) GFX card at 71c idle (8800GTS 320 stock)

Now with the Antec 1200

CPU idles at 20c
Mobo idles at 26c
GPU 52c

Orthos for one hours

CPU at 39c
Mobo 31c
GPU idle 52c

GFX test at 1680 x 1050 2aa

GPU 65c

Needless to say I am very impressed. It is not as well constructed as the P182 but vastly superior at cooling. All fans are at slow speed.

I'm currently running with 3 fans on the go (cables to get 6 on the go arriving today) and my CPU temp sits around the 25 degree mark idle. my laptop which i used previously sits around 30 - 35 idle!!

Antec 1200 is great at what it does, its just a shame its so poorly designed from a maintenance viewpoint...got to strip off both panels and remove the HDD bays to get at the fan filters etc.

Agreed. Routine servicing is cumbersome as it was not fully thought through. Just spent the last hour and a half running FC2 @ 1680x1050 75% on High rest on Ultra using an 8800GTS 320. GPU diode says 67c. It used to be around 88c.

Only if you screw both sides in :)

I've done my usual as far as I remember and have only screwed in everything in one side, meaning that I only have to take one panel (the one with the window on it) off to clean the filters or get to the guts of the PC. Am going to clean my filters tomorrow and will see what happens. I was drunk when putting it all together but I'm pretty sure I only screwed in everything on one side lol :D

I found my P182 gave me very good temps. Today is very cold but my mobo temp and CPU core temps are all 23c, and my 8800GT is 49c (all idle), I did add an extra fan as intake via a kamabay though. I have scythe jyuni 1200rpm fans running at 1000rpm.

I'm planning on getting the 1200...I wasn't under the impression I was going to have to finance the cables to run the fans that come with it. What's needed?
