Antec 1200

Hey everyone

I have had my antec 1200 for less then a week now and i love it to bits,but i have a question for those of you who have got one.Which way should i mount the 120mm fan on the door,should i have it sucking in air or blowing out?I dont have any additional fans other than a very old akasa 120mm fan that i had too borrow from another build.Basicallly my idle temps are a little high for my i7 950 and i havent even overclocked yet,was just wondering would i be better mounting it on one of the hd's blowing towards cpu until i can order a couple of Akasa AK-FN059 120mm Ultra Quiet Viper Cool Fan - 3/4 Pin fans on monday to lower temps a wee bit?

afaik the antec 1200 doesnt have a door?? do you mean the fan at the top?

Yes it does ( i think )

I would have the fan blowing air in and the top fan exhaust.

Front fans intake and rear fans exhaust.

No door on this:

if you mean front fans, they should all be intake... bringing in air to run across the rig!

He means the side panel and it should be sucking air into the case m8 to cool the gpu's.

I set fan to blow air into the case and thuis cool your GPU.
