Antec 300 help

Hi guys, I was just wondering if anybody knew if the windowed side panel on an antec 900 would fit on a 300.

I have asked this same question both on these forums and asked antec directly.

Apparantly it will not fit because of the way each side panel fits on.

and the antec 900 is bigger

Yeah I thought the 900 was much bigger than the 300 anyway?

I noticed that the specs are almost identical in terms of height and length

So did I, its just the fittings on the inside of the case and how the side panel fits on which is different. I read somewhere that antec were going to release a windowed side panel for the 300 but i cant remember exactly, might of just been a rumour.

If the antec 300 came with a side window it would look way better than the antec 900, 902, 1200.

I already completely messed up my 300 side panel when trying to cut it. The jigsaw blade came out of its groove and I didn't notice until it was too late. Since then I've cut out some plexiglass which looks really cool but it scratches easily. Does anyone have recommendations as to a good non scratching window/plexiglass type material? (not glass)
