Antec 300 issue

I'm in the middle of building my first PC and i've chosen this brlliant case, few cable management problems, however that can be fixed

I'm having a problem finding out where the 2 fans that are in the case fit into my Asus M4A79XTD Evo mobo, everything else is in fine, no problems, but i can't figure out for the life of me where these 2 fanst fit in, the manual says the mobo, but i can't find an appropriate connector.

Probably missed something obvious, but thanks in advance.

Aren't they molex connectors IIRC? i.e connect them to a molex power thingy that comes off your PSU.

I'm using the Antec TruePower 650w PSU and it has a cable with 3 adaptors coming of it, is that what the molex is? i'm pretty new to tis and not entirely sure

Yeah the 2 fans that come with the 300 plug into your power supply, but if I remember right, you can plug 1 fan into the other fan and then into the P/S as they have a pass through plug.

yeah if its the big roof fan and the rear fan they will connect together

We've just tried plugging the 2 case fans into the PSU, but there doesn't seem to be a connector to fit them into, the only option we found was the cable with these other 3 connectors coming off of it, and ending in a 4 pin connector, we plugged the 2 fans into 2 of these connectors, and put the 4 pin conector into the CHA_FAN1 on the mobo

Is there any chance at all you could post a picture?
The connections on the PSU are square, yet the fansplugs are rounded, starting to think that i'm missing a piece or something

That's what I've done. I need to get some better fans though...

The fans you are talking about are the ones that came fitted in the case yes ? ie top rear of case and roof of case and NOT at the front ?

The Antec fans (roof and rear) connect together and then you plug in a 4 pin (molex) connector from your PSU (power supply)

Ok well as mentioned above they should connect together and then let you plug in 1 single molex (4 pin) from your PSU .

Err, may have rad this wrong but are you plugging a power connector into the fan header?

The small 4 pin from the power supply is a floppy power cable, the fan headers are for powering fans directly off the mobo and are not the fans that come with the Antec 300, keep power connectors away from the fan headers
