Antec 300 Question

I don't get the point of HDD cooling. Max mine ever hit with a fan close to them is 35C. Hardly earth shattering.

The Antec 300 has good enough airflow to keep your hdds cool.

EDIT: I see now it's more about keeping it silent. That's fair enough. Aren't there easier and cheaper ways then using a heatpipe cooler?

Agreed I wouldn't bother. There is a lot of research to suggest Hard Drives actually have a longer lifespan when hotter rather than over cooled. The Antec has adequate cooling for hard drives with those two big 120mm intakes.

yes i want them for quietness rather than cooling

Iv got a sythe quiet drive cooler. It dont seem to effect temps but now my F1 is totally silent. even if its outa my case with my ear next to it i cant tell its even working. Hope it does as well with a velociraptor.
