Antec 300 V Antec 900

With the new 300 out and available for roughly half the price of the older 900, surely the 300 would be the case of choice every time ? What is there on the 900 to justify a doubling of the price ? Who would still buy a 900 today ?
Need a new case and tempted by the 300, anybody have alternative recommendations for sub £50.

I was expecting much less from the 300, but I found it to be a pretty sturdy case that looks more expensive than it is. If you want plain but without being boring, 300!
 
Thanks for the input guys, 300 looking good. That Coolermaster 690 looks decent too, read a review and it gets rated highly.
Anyone care to comment on Antec 300 v CM 690 .....
 
I spent 200 pounds on a modded CM Stacker 832 with side window and the Antec 900 is still my favorite case... :p

Hate the 1200 though. 300 is nice but wouldn't use it myself.
 
I have the antec 900 and its the perfect size, not too big but plenty of room to work in/

i suppose the 900 is just a little more flashy - proabably about the same build quality. Correct me if I'm wrong.
 
i thought the antec 900 was bigger than that? it looks almost the same size as the 300. nice pic btw :)
 
Does anyone know if a Corsair HX520 CPU power lead will reach ok in the 300 or 900. Will I need to buy a cable extender?

Also, is the cable management situation better on the 300 than the 900? Not really into cutting holes into the MOBO tray.
 
I have my cables fairly neet at the moment although im going to cut 2 holes anyway, cos im kinda fussy when it comes to things like this:)

but if you just want it looking neet and not SUPER tidy, then yes its good enough
 
Can anyone recommend a floppy disk bracket for the Antec 300? I know floppies are outdated, but I've got a shedload of floppy disks and it'd be pretty inconvenient to not be able to access them.
