Hi guys, I will soon be building a new gaming PC, with a budget of around £1500, but I already have a Antec 300 case on the way.

Would this case be big enough to fit most recent hardware in? As I know some graphics cards can be quite big! Im also hoping to look into watercooling sometime soon, is this case big enough?

Cheers

I personally own an Antec 300. I'm sure it'll fit a 5970 - but definetely not a water cooling set up. In fact, you kinda should have done your homework a bit more if you have £1500 to spend and just bought an Antec 300. There's not a whole of space inside and cable management is a biatch.

£1500? Why on earth would you go with such a budget case if you plan to spend that much money?

You should really ask questions before you order! Not after!

Thanks for the replies!

I was originally going to just change my current PC case to an Antec 300. I then came up with the idea of building a new gaming PC after I had already purchased the case!

The inside of the case is going to be powder coated matte black tomorrow, I have already cut out a window in the side panel, so I don’t really want to be changing cases again now.

I will stick to air cooling on this build, as it sounds like there’s no chance for water cooling at all and no, I don’t mean keeping the stock HS and fan haha.

The PC will have a budget of around £1000, as I am going to use the £500 for 2 monitors and a desk etc.

Cheers
Adam

You might want to cut out all of the HDD bays to allow longer cards to fit in, other people have done this (also to allow a 120.2 rad in the front).
