Antec 4 pin extension

Hi gang,

Got this extension cable and it has 2 4 pin and 1 8 pin

How do I connect this up?

Do I just stick the 4pin in the mobo and the 4pin of the psu in the bit market cpu1 on the extension cable?

It'll kinda look like

[4pin]-----------------------------------------------[8pin]-------------[4pin]

Left side 4 pin into the power supply, and either the right 4 pin or right 8 pin into the motherboard depending on how many pins are required for your mobo's 12v connection.

can i do

8 from power supply into 8 into extension

then 4 into motherboard?

using the cpu1 in mobo

join the two four pins to make an 8 pin and put in mobo? thats what i did with mine.

Hi, would I be right in assuming that this would work on an AMD system with 1 4 pin plug, just plug the 2 4 pins on the PSU end into the extension lead, then just plug CPU1 connector into the 12v on the mobo???

I want to know cause I want to get one for my P182, so I can run the one CPU cable behind the case instead of running it through the case. Thanks in advance.
