Hi guys, ive just built my new system.. spent 7 hours solid last night putting it all together.. first build:eek:

Looks sweet, colors are great, and its a mean beast. One problem, i turn it on, and the big ass " big boy" top 120mm fan just nicks my tuniq tower 120 cpu cooler... the fan still spins but it clearly scrapes the tuniq tower.... the cooler is on the cpu etc properly.. and looks like theres no way to fix this but to get another cpu cooler..

Anyone else had this problem ? Any advice or help ?

Thanks

Lewis

You could, someone else here will have to confirm, but basically, mount it up side down, but keep the fan blowing in the right direction.

Or you could simply cut a bit of the heatsink, erm but yeah, lets wait for someone else ;)

ok after removing the heatsink without taking the pc appart (tricky) its not the heatsink but a fan wire trailing with a fan blade.. Arggghh hahah

No i cannon get the bloody heatsink back in.... the plate, and its holes do not seem to match up with the Mobos hole now. Theres no way im unplugging all the wires etc to take the mobo out :D
