right wasnt sure whether this shoudl be in case or sound so ive put it in general :D any one know how to connect the front audio ports on the antec 900 case to the soundblaster audigy 2 card?

I've got the same setup as you (case/soundcard) and I don't really think there's a way to do it without sacrificing the outputs on the soundcard. The mic/headphone jacks on my case are redundant because I use the ports on the soundcard.

I know it's not the most convenient of setups but I'm not sure if there's any other more practical way tbh

yea blows :P platinum bay i think is the only option... unless find out which pins are the audio on the like row thats used for the platinum bay then just put it on maybe?

You could try that (finding out which pins are used for the audio) but from what I can see from the amount of inputs and outputs on the front of that bay, the data that's being passed through those contacts on the card may well be encoded (i.e. multiple things going down one wire, and the bay/soundcard decode/encode it at both ends).

Thing is though I've only come across this now as you've mentioned it :p so there's a good chance I could be wrong

hehe yea its probably coded tho for the ammount of pins there are :( damm, guess ill keep looking for a bay :D
