I have a Antec 900 with all stock fans, temps r fine, but i just added an 120mm fan to my side panel blowing inwards onto the Gfx Card / Mobo it put my gfx card down 10c and my Mobo temps 7-12c which i thought was amazing as my temps were low in the first place, but its his fan so i put it back, and was wondering which fan you guys would go for, for the Antec 900 side panel to cool gfx card, Id prefer the best Silent but high airflow fan possible

Thanks Jonny.

Yeah ive looked at Noctura but its £14 im not that fussed about price but ive seen AKASA 120mm Amber series 3pin Ultra quiet case fan £11.79

Akasa Amber
Rated speed: 1400 RPM
- Sound: 18.0 dB(A)
- Air flow: 44.8 CFM

Noctua NF-S12 1200RPM
12v performance - 1200RPM, 17dBA, 48CFM
-- 7.5v performance - 600RPM, <6dBA, 24CFM

Theres slight diff 3.2 Airflow and 1dba for £3-4 i dunno lol because by time of deliv its gonna b £17 (Akasa £10)

Yeh i wasnt sure if you could, but thx =]

No probs mate.

I wouldnt pay too much attention to the manufactures figures, they all use different methods to test there fans so the results will vary.

Lots of people are happy with the Ambers though.

Also check out Yate Loon, very highly regarded!

Yes i just looked very cheap, push a lot of air around but my friend has some and he says there kinda loud also the 1300rpm shifts similar to the amber but has double DB but thanks ill prob go with amber also im attracted to the kwl amber fins =]

Hey Guys i bought a computer a while ago and i bought an 3rd party CPU cooler, Artic Freezer 7 Pro hoping to Overclock my CPU (Q6600) but the cooler wouldnt fit on my mobo as 1 of the heatpipes was blocking the last clip on the Asus P5N32-E SLI Plus so ive had to make do with the stock cooler, which is shabby, 29-31c Idle 41c-45c Load which i guess isnt to bad, but id really prefer lower, or similar but higher clock. So the thing i need help with is the CPU cooler, ive spoke to many people and they say you need to mod the Cooler, but nobody has told me what needs doing, and also how to do it, so if anybody has done it before or had the same problem and resolved it, please post asap, also if u have This combo, mobo + cpu working, could u post the Photo

Thanks Jonny.
