Hi,

Right ive got the said case, im trying to get my cables all nice and neat, ive got the revision that has the holes cut in the mobo tray, but this is my first attempt at cable management and im a tad confused.

The holes seem very close together so i cant see the point in them? You would only loose about half and inch of cables then they reappear again?! It could just be me not understand it properly though as im a cable management noob :p

Would anyone be able to take a picture of the back of there mobo tray who has done it and looks nice and neat?

Any help anyone can give me id really appriciate!

Thanks Guys and Gals
Jas

my main problem on mine is the p4 power cable having to go ish over the motherboard from the psu. a pain in the bum!

To route the p4 power cable I had to get an extender which I've then run up to the first hole in the mobo tray, out the top one and over the very top of the tray.

The front USB Firewire and sound header cables run between the motherboard and tray, all other cables run behind the tray and are just tapped in place. Bit of a birds nest in the top right corner, but you cant see it when the side panel is in place.

I found cabling this case easier than everyone was making out, but I purposely avoided IDE cables and also used a modular PSU, so probably made my life easier to start with.

Ok, here's the less than pretty side, tbh I just worry about the bits inside the case you can see, the back of the mobo tray was arranged (using the term loosely) so that none of the cables were to fat to make the side panel difficult to fit :D

Well thanks to you guys ive managed to get her looking a lot nicer than she was! Im still not happy with a few bits and dabs but i dont think i can do anything without a modular psu.

I'll have to get some pics up and show her off a bit. Like everyone else, just dont look behind the mobo tray LOL :p

To save opening another thread, someone here may know, Cathodes, do they fit ok in the 900? If so where are people putting them? Id ideally like em out of side and just the glow from them showing.

Would just one be enough to light up the whole case (blue cathode) or would i really be looking at 2?

Thanks

I have mine running down the edge of the drive bay area. It is visible through the window though. I think you could do one across the top though which should be more covered but not tried this as I wanted to ensure the water cooling was lit

Magic Tape for the win!!!!!

Essential tools needed for a clean case install:

1) Zip Ties
2) Magic Tape
3) Patience and logical thinking :p

And is one enough to light the whole case?

Thanks for the info

I have one UV light in there plus all the standard Blue LED's and it looks ok at night, can make all componants out from the other side of the room anyway
