Newbie alert!

Can't see how the front comes off my Antec 900 case - which I think I need to do in order to get at the 3.5 HDD cage.

I'm actually trying to get one of the HDDs out in order to remove with tweezers the broken bit of plastic jammed in the SATA power slot which broke off when.....well, you get the picture.

It's a bit crowded in there.

The manual makes it clear that the cage should be able to come out of the front of the case, but doesn't say how to get the front off. There is a slot at the bottom of the front panel which looks as if it is meant to be tugged at (as on one of my older cheaper cases) but this didn't do the trick.

I just had a look on youtube, the cages slide out the front with the front panel left in place, can't give you a link as I'm on my phone, but search for antec900 review.

As stulid said, the 2 seperate HDD cages slide out the front. Obviously make sure you undo all the thumb screws either side of the cage otherwise it won't budge :D Otherwise it should move fairly easily. I do this fairly often as cleaning the dust filters in this case is a pain in the ass.

Thanks folks, that did it.

What I need now is one of the elves with very very small hands that Overclockers used to get the 8 pin connector onto the motherboard socket in between the case and the enormous cooling tower. Actually, the new PSU I am installing has 2 4 pin connectors that *don't* have the usual micro clip bits to link them together into one single 8 pin connector, so I'm trying to get two 4 pin connectors into the right very small places at the same time. I've done it once while in the "lets test the new PSU without putting in the case" phase - it only took an hour or two. Sigh.

In case you're wondering, the previous Corsair 750W PSU went Flash Bang when I turned on one day.
