Not sure which one to go for, just got a few questions for anyone who has built a computer using both.

1: Which has better ventilation? i thought it would be the 900 due to its fans.

2: Which has more space in? they both fit a GTX dont they?

3: Which one is easier to open/fit componments in/

4: Which one is generally the better case?

Thanks

In terms of ultimate cooling performance they are about the same but the Lian Li is less noisy due to the reduced number of fans - it cools more efficiently.

I think the Lian Li is marginally bigger inside, but smaller outside. Because of the way the Lian Li is laid out it is extremely tight putting a GTX in there. It will just fit, but sensibly I wouldn't do it. The 900 will also just take a GTX, but it is again extremely tight, although less so than in the Lian Li. If you really want an 8800 series card then I would recommend the Lian Li G50 over the PC7+.

The Lian Li has a simpler layout and it is much easier to make a tidy installation in the Lian Li. This would be reversed if you chose the G50 as it's nearly impossible to wire up without it looking like a dogs breakfast inside.

Lian Li PC7+ SE II in black or Lian Li G50B.

The PC7 is probably a better case overall, I went for the G50B though as I wanted something that was nice and small. I previously had a PC7 (which I think WJA bought from me?), build quality is very similar on them.

If having a small case doesn't really concern you then get the PC7 and remove the HD bays (fit HDs in the floppy/optical bays). It will give you a load more space for long graphics card and should improve cooling for them quite a bit.

How does the HD cage come out? What holds it in place and is a Hiper 580Type R PSU with Modular Cables long enough?

Ok thanks for the answers, i think im going for the PC7 plus, but are there any better cases for £100 or under that have lots of room and are cooled well.

the only other competition would be the Akasa Eclipse but it's looks are awful so go for the nice clean quality lian li pc-7+ ....Black ofcourse
