Antec 900 owners - Fan noise OK?

Sounds like a nice piece of kit. May look into one myself as its annoying to have to open the case to change the speeds. How many fans can it control? Currently have 5 case fans, will leave the cpu fan alone as i dont want bios warnings.

I suspect it can be used on other platforms... Hey, you can have mine (MX422) if I go ahead with my upgrade.

The beauty of it is the flexibility of it. WinAmp comes on so the display shows music info. A game is loaded so it show FPS and CPU/GPU temps etc. Nothing is running, so general info is shown... Lovely! And in my case all the time it's monitoring temps and turning fans up/down/on/off accordingly - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNOzPQ7YXmk
Nice, I used to use a parallel port 4x40 LCD back in the mid-90's to show Winamp v1.x info, nice they have progressed somewhat. :)

I'll check them out, I'd need to run it on an extension lead with my machine being 3 metres away in the very corner of my room! I'm guessing they use USB these days?

Yes, they are all USB, with the USB going to a regular socket, or an internet header. I don't understand why they don't offer a prefabricated piece of metal you can screw the LCD into so you can just sit it on your desk like a clock.

The Typhoon comes in a 5.25 bay unit and can be removed from it by undoing four screws. If you could then just screwn the unit into a simple piece of optional metal (black or silver) and stand it on your case/desk it would work beautifully!
