Antec 900 vs 1200?

I've read a lot of reviews for both cases, but none seem to go into great detail about the cooling. Basically I have a 900 at the moment, it looks a bit cluttered inside - does the 1200 have better cooling?

I'm also thinking of watercooling in the future, is it easy to setup with a 900 or should I consider getting the 1200? I know the size is huge for the 12 but cable management is supposedly better which is always a bonus.

The Antec 1200 has better cooling... to state the obvious if you look at the diffrence between the two cases its easy to see that the Antec 1200 has more fans = its a bigger case,so = better cooling than a Antec 900....

Yeah.. I didnt want to jump to the conclusion though. I'm sure somewhere I heard that bigger case has more turbulence or something..unless I'm imagining it.

Just recently done another build with a 1200, the cooling properties are excellent... 6x 120mm + 1x 200mm keeps all my components chilly...

Will be posting my build pics from last weekend on my Antec 1200 thread today..

What speed do you have the fans? On my 900 I have them on high.. its pretty noisy but I soon forget about it while gaming - usually I have headphones anyway

But 1200 - more fans = more noise?

All on medium, don't find them noisy... good fans.

The dust filters are quite appealing also.. getting out the can of air every now and then is probably pretty annoying. My PC is still fairly recent though so it doesnt have much dust yet

I just had a look.. looks to plain to me..

It might be childish but I love the leds in the 900 and 1200, and the window on the side is nice too. Everyones different though I suppose

it is a good case. But you do have to be weary, like the antec 900 the 1200 is also made out of steel not aluminium. The antec can be quite a heavy case especially with all kind of gear in it. I can only imagne that the 1200 will be heavier. But saying that if you dont lug your pc around like i do you wont have nothing to worry about

If you have a 900 and like it but need more space & cooling then the 1200 is the logical choice, go for it

After building a new system 2 weeks or so ago, i can't praise the Antec 1200 case highly enough. All fans are set to low and it's very very quiet.
