Antec 900

it very good cooling but its a bit cramped and bad cable management so wires all over the place, but u can always drill a few holes and hide them :D or u can get the cm690 wich is £20 less

i dont know what people complain about :/

i have a 900 and it may be a little cramped but there is ample space for cable tidying i have done so without the need to destroy half of it. Unless you have got absolutely loads of components going into it space is not a worry, i've got a fair long graphics card with a huge cooler (S1) and fan, along with 3 harddrives and 2 dvd drives and there is its more then enough space for all of this and extremely cool temps.

I'm looking into this case, seen a few reviews about it and thought i'd ask those that have it about their opinion on it before I buy it.

The majority of the components are strictly limited, PSU is modular and the HDD and DVDRW are SATA so cabling will be at a minimum.

I have one and the other day re-wired it so that the cables are hidden using the built in channels and its a big improvement, run watercooled CPU and southbridge without any problems and getting the pipework and rad in was easy enough

exactly, the only people that complain about it are *normally* the people who have just read bad reviews or heard bad things but not actually the people that have had them. :)

now while it looks messy it really isnt, but cant do much with a non-modular psu. but all the cables are right at the back of the case and so block the airflow to... well nothing. and the harddrive arrangement means that there is plenty ventilation for them and enough airflow for the graphics card :)

I <3 my Antec 900! In my opinion the cable management is pritty good, air flow is amaizing and its pritty quiet if you put the fans on low!

I like my 900. Great airflow. One thing i dont like is the design of the side panel, but i intend to buy a 'blank' side panel and make my own.

im getting an Antec 900, with all the other bits i ordered from OCUK... ive read lots of good reviews, but the only downside imo is the mothboard try is non-removable which is a bit of a pain but probably not a problem as ive built a few pc in the past...

1st post as well :)

Just to add my two penneth.

I've had one of these since they came out (1 year?) and I haven't had a single problem with it. Still the best case I have owned by a country mile. Sure it is a bit cramped inside but the airflow is superb.

A friend at work has the Xclio A380 (see the fugliest case thread) and he saw mine go together (joys of working as IT Manager :-) and having lots of holidays left) and really likes the way that it all went in, plenty of room for the WC etc

Been reading some of the reviews, dust magnet! How bad does it collect the dust in this case?

I've got £100 inc VAT and Delivery to spend on a case so I need to invest in a really good case.

very good case, recently just done some tidying (well as much as i could some of the power cables are a bit short so have to go in odd places, and then 1 molex is about 3 feet long for no obvious reason:confused:), only problem is that my mobo has the8 pin power connector in the top left and with a large cpu cooler and the top fan it's difficult to get into place, so you might want to do that before mounting the cooler if yours is similarly placed.
