Antec 902 - Front panel USB3 ?

I have an Antec 902 and am about to put an ASRock Z58 USB3 board into it. The case has 2 x USB2 and an eSata port on the front panel and I was wondering if I could change the USB2 to 3? Is it physically a different type of port or can I just connect the USB2 ports to a USB3 header on the mobo?

I think you need version 3 of the Antec 902 case as it has the USB3 setup, as far as I know mate its extra wires within the cable rather than different connection (ie. usb connector) as this makes it able to be backward compatible with USB2 items.
