Antec 902 question.

Looking to build a new rig veery soon, going for i 5 CPU, nothing to taxing, no water cooling, only 1 GPU. Ive read the reviews and people have said that this case becomes very cramped, anyone that can clarify this for me? It obviously looks the part but I would rather have a case with more room that doesnt look as swarve :) Any recommendations of around that price range are very welcome ^^ Thanks
 
I think they're a similar size to the 300? Not certain though.

The 300 is very cramped, my motherboard only just fits in it's slot, and you couldn't get a big powerful GPU in there as standard, but if you removed the hard drive bays a big GPU would fit no trouble. You could mount the HDs in the optical bays, just depends how many hard drives/optical drives you have!
 
Well I only use the PC to game, watch some movies etc. So probably only going to have one of each? Cant believe how much bigger components have got :) wouldnt think it would be so difficult to choose a case! :P
 
I'm just in the middle of building a new rig using a 902 & I think there will be plenty of room for what your looking to do, I've had a few issues, but there as likely to be from me installing things in the wrong order than not having enough room in the case.
 
The issue I found was access to motherboards with side mounted SATA (see sig). Saying that once setup it is much easier to hide away your cables.

I think it's a great case, plenty of room for loads of HDD's etc.

Although it isn't noisy on medium fan settings (or full) I am going for some 120mm Sythe Gentle Typhoon fans and anti-vibration shims just to reduce vibration and get it as quiet as possible (going to be a studio PC so needs to be super quiet - can't afford water cooling yet).

CPU cooler choice would be important as I have a V8 and there is no room for a side mounted fan anymore. Not a problem but worth noting.

Buying a well layed out motherboard would be more of a concern for me overall - 902 all the way!
 
The 902 has plenty of space for what you going to be using the it for...
Has room for multiple HDD's and when using only 1 GPU you will have plenty of space and will not be cramped at all...
