Hey, I'm working on my first build.
I have hooked up the top fan (Big boy) to my PSU, and the while the other three fans on the 902 are working fine, the top one seems to spin for a little bit and then stops and starts twitching.
My PSU is the bequiet Dark Power Pro 750W, and I am connecting using one of the four fan connections that it comes with.
As I said the other fans work fine, and I tried swapping the cables around.
Does the big boy run off these connections, or do I need to connect it to a different type of line... or do I have a Duff... any ideas?

I have carried on with the build, and the top fan works if I turn both it and the rear fan on to high, any other combination and the fan just twitches...
I'm just guessing here, but there is not a thermostat controlling the fan is there, otherwise its got to be a wiring issue with the case/fan as 95thrifles suggested...

I'm experiencing a similar problem with my Antec 300's top 140mm fan.

If i set it to the highest speed, the fan 'chugs' for a few seconds, then just stops spinning

If i set it to medium, the fan sort of goes between slow and medium speeds every 2 seconds or so, and repeats over and over. Only the slowest setting seems to be the one that doesnt cause any issues. :o

No idea who i should contact first, ocuk or antec support?

In regards to your problem, i believe it lies with the fact that you are trying to run a fan with two controllers fighting for the speed control. i.e. the 3 way speed switch attached to the fan, and the PSU's in built controller connected to the motherboard. It should work fine if you use a standard molex power to the fans with the 3 way switch. Any other fans can be connected to the PSU as you've done.

And after I tried.... sucess... running the big boy off a seperate std molex connecter means all fans are ...er... spinning.

Thanks for the helpful reply!
