Hi

Back again as I thought I had got my antec 920 silent as its supposed to be
but "suddenly" the fish tank noise went off and I realised it WASNT as quiet as it could be after all.

So I decided to look into this issue further. I have found a cure but its born of lunacy I tell thee.

Basically "turning the computer UPSIDE down", in a matter of seconds, silences the grinding noise!!!

In fact, turning the case on its side, silences the garbling noise also.

However, as soon as I put the case back up right in the correct position the noise comes back and doesnt go.

what in gods names going on ????? ta

ok I've fixed it !!! (finallY) - if some else gets this problem try taking the pump off the CPU and rotate it 180 degrees so that the khuler LED is upside down and facing the top exhaust - on most case shots you see it installed, the case is up right, and khuler logo is facing the bottom and is readable.....if your having noise problems, what I just did might work, flip it 180 so the khuler logo is upside down and facing the top exhaust fan and not the bottom of the case! absolutely silent now - relieved because I thought I'd spent a 4 figure sum building and researching a case that was as good as silent (unless under stress of course!) and had been disappointed, now its better than i anticipated!!
