Hi, have an Antec case bought a few years ago and it has some long clips that you attatch to the side your cd/dvd drive and then slide it into the bay. I cant work out how they work, any idea ?

The go at the bottom of the drive so that both sets of holes line up with those on the drive. The spring clip goes to the front. Generally you need to fix it so that you are using the set of holes furthest from the spring clip in each cluster. That is, the clip sits slightly proud of the front of the drive. Then slide the drive in until the spring clips click, which tells you that you are in the right place.
That's for the SOHO 1040 case, and IIRC it's for Chieftec cases as well.
