Im considering buying this (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/syscon_int.php?prodid=FS-057-OK) as a replacement for me ageing mce2005 box and going to Vista mce due to too many bugs in 2005 finally getting the better of me. Im unsure, however, if the case (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-091-AN) is any good and if the bundle will take my tv tuner card (a Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-T 500) and also my second SATA HDD with all my photos and mustc etc. on.
Also, how quitely does the system run when operational? it will be a pure MCE box and never used for anything else.

If anyone with experience of this system can help, that would be fantastic

im 99% sure it does. In fact I know it does. sold my technician m8 my old 7600Gt with massive artic coolong fan on and that fits in ok

are all good forums for HTPC advice, reviews etc etc

Yeah It does accept full size cards, I've built a media centre using this case with a 7600gt, Auzentech Xplosion 7.1 sound card and a Hauppauge Nova T 500 in it currently. The case has room for 2 3.5" hard drives. The case fans are very quiet but replaced my gfx card cooler with a Zalman cooler, now the hard drives are the loudest thing. I'd highly recommend it.

Thanks. What about the bundle linked in the first post...Seem ample for Vista MCE and not a lot else?

I would wait for the 780G series of mainboards to be released, there coming very soon. There better at UVD for blu-ray.

I would up the cpu to 4800+.

2gb ram will be fine. find out what cpu cooler there using. you want a quite one!

onboard sound is fine if ** using SPDIF. if not those auxetech thingys are nice for HTPC use.

Cheers. I will be using SPDIF into my receiver.
What does UVD mean/offer?

I wonder if OCuk will offer a nice htpc bundle with the new mobos you mention?
