Im planning on building myself a HTPC and i want to know if the fans included with the Antec Fusion case are silent enough? if not which fans would be reccomended? I want it as silent as possible

Thanks :)

No knowing the fusion, but the last antec case I bought had their own 90 & 120mm tri cool fans fitted, which on the lowest setting are very very quiet indeed.

I have the Antec fusion for my htpc and have got to say that when the fans are set to the lowest it's almost silent. The standard fans each have a controller on them with 3 settings (low-medium & spin their bag off!), unless you're doing some serious overclocking the low setting will be fine. As you can see here the 2 x 120mm fans run across the entire width of the mainboard and even with my total lack of cable management :D my temps remain lovely and cool, this with a E4300@3Ghz and the fans at the lowest settings. The video card is the noisiest component in there.

It's the Standard clocked Gainward 9600GT with HDMI out, it works a treat for doing a bit of gaming as well as watching blu rays. Got it here from stocker clockers

These Antec Fans are extremely quiet on low, although there isn't a great deal of airflow compared to the higher settings.

You need to sort that cable management out there. :p
