Antec Guarentee?

Anyone know what the guarentee is on Antec PSU's? Mine has just gone :mad:

If a PSU blows and takes out some parts surely its the manufactures fault and they should pay?

I bet in the terms & conditions of sale it says that they will not be held responsible.

As far as I know it hasn't. It didn't bang or anything, it just failed to boot up and I took it to a local store and they tested it and found it to be dead!

Warrenty stops at the molex's

What am I saying, I'm running a Hiper 580 :eek:

Thanks, I don't know what I'll do if its taken anything else!! I got my stuff from various different places

Antec are good quality anyway so I doubt it will of done - as I say there wasn't a bang or anything. As for the Corsair, they are just going to replace with the same model lol.

Same happened me, the second time in two years. Unfortunately it took everything with it this time around.

Antecs both times.

I tried claiming against accidental damage on my contents insurance, but I'm told they only cover lightening strkes!

What a load of cobblers - nothing like that was mentioned in the policy, afaik.

£124 for a powersupply of only 720w that youll never need?

Did you recomend it because it has:

I should have asked to replace with a modular PSU. Pain in the neck having to tidy up standard PSU.

Well I'm back up and running now. The RMA was sorted pretty quick and the new PSU (True power trio) has come revised, different stickers and now comes modular which is superb.
