Hi folks...have an odd one and I'm not 100% certain what the issue is but i'm edging towards my cooler.
Basically randomly when under very little to no load my CPU temps will shoot sky high. The fan speeds increase exponentially and never seem able to cool the cpu.
The cooler and cpu have been in place for about a year with no issues.
My thoughts seem to be that the pump within the loop is stopping, hence the massive temperature increase and the fans being unable to cool the rad because it doesn't need cooling - the rad itself isn't hot.
It's completely intermittent though and I can't pin it down.
Has anyone ever encountered something like this?
