Got a bit of a problem with my Antec fan!

No matter what I do to stress my CPU , the fan speed never increases or decreases at all!!

It is constantly sitting around the 1400rpm mark.

My mainboard is an ASUS M4A88T-M, having read the manual it states that the cpu fan needs a 4 pin connection to run with the ASUS Q-Fan system, the ANTEC has only a 3 pin cpu fan connnector!

I also have cool and quiet enabled via BIOS!

Anyone able to give me some info to get my fan to spin up properly and then spin down to a lower rpm if needed!

Thanks

That readout isn't actually the fan RPM. I'm assuming you plugged the fan into the cable that comes from the pump. The problem is that the fan, although has a 3 connector is only a 2 pin one. It lacks the third pin that normally tells you the RPM. So the 1400RPM is actually the pump. I have no idea how the fan speed can be controlled automatically, I had the same issue.
