Antec is back at OcUK!

So case arrived today Flux Pro. I have some feedback after transferring stuff from old case.

The Good:

Real nice case to work on.
Cable management is great.
Loads of space.
Very quote and cool - I’m mean crazy good.

The Bad:

The metal is fin and bendy. You can feel it. I certainly did from 011D XL.
The motherboard tray on my case was bent. The case needed some small bending to allow the motherboard to mount correctly. I thought stand offs for a time but no the tray was bent.

This is may feedback. Others may of had a better experience.
 
I now have my C8 curve up and running, however it's a bit dark in there. Does anyone have any ideas on tasteful lighting (I don't want RGB everywhere) I could add, just so I'm not looking at a black box? I should've thought about this before buying the case, but its here now :-) Perhaps some fan shrouds I could fix set to one colour for instance?

Lovely looking case and one that Ive had my eye on for my son’s pc.

Can you confirm or not that the fans are molex powered? I’m sure I read that somewhere. And how loud are they? Lack of fan control and not using PWM seems like a backwards step.

Once I've got the PC built this weekend I'll quote your post again and let you know the above, I'll be putting PWM fans in it
 
I got a Flux non-Pro on Tuesday and built transferred my system to it yesterday, swapping my Lian Li Galahad for an Arctic Liquid Freezer 3 at the same time.

Great case to work with; the fact the top comes off makes AIO installation very easy, and the cable management option s are so good that even I have a neat build!

I do have an issue however, and that's that the front 3 fans make a clicking sound (I initially suspected it was the AIO pump). I'm going to contact Antec support to see if they can do anything about it, but if not I'll just swap them out for something else.
 
Any idea when the C8 curve will be back in stock? Bought a Frame 4000 for a family member, returning it as it is paper thin, very poor. Looking for it for a while but unsure if is a matter of days or months @Ace Modder
 
I need a case to repalace my Antec 900 but ive no idea what to get ?
I need a mid tower with fans on front back and top just like my Antec 900
Any ideas ?

If you like fishbowl cases, I'd look at the C5 ARGB, it includes 7x120mm ARGB fans, which makes it pretty good value.

I think the Flux is Antec's more regular tower design, though the Performance 1 is also nice.
 
I just realised that i still need 2 dvd/bluray drives ? this is going to be hard:rolleyes:
