Antec ISK600M or wait for the new case, if anyone know anything about it ??

Firstly though, does anyone have the Antec ISK600M here at the forum, would love to hear your opinions about the case since thinking of buying it, expecially how the air flow is in it.

Secondly, depending on price and funktionality of this new case that coming, i.e. would it also have a horizontal laying motherboard tray ?? I like the idea of having the motherboard flat for once. :cool:

But more important, when is it due ?? If lucky maybe Ace Modder sees this thread and can let us know now.. lol

I was looking at that case briefly and the main thing that put me off was the reviews saying the routing of the cables from the PSU (in the bottom section) to the motherboard was limited and could mean using extension cables to get everything connected.

Probably the biggest failing with this case is way the power cables have to run from the lower compartment to the upper section via a small opening at the front of the case. This can make it awkward to connect your motherboard and graphics card, and in particular any drives in the upper caddy are a long way from the power supply.

Also, what case did you go for instead ?? I am still open for suggestions, nothing set in stone here.

And yes, I had a look at that one as well, nice little case it is.

Any clue it it would hold a 970 though ? "Supports Ultra High-End VGA's (HD7990/GTX690)" <= Not sure if they same sice as a 970 or smaller.

See if Ace Modder pops in and let us know about this new case he was referring to in another thread.

Yep i have the antec case.

Got an i7 4790k with a Phanteks PH-TC14PE cooler on which fills most of the top section.

With a large cooler the top plate for the drives needs to be removed.

As for the gpu i managed to cram in a xfx 290 next to the cooler but it was a tight fit.

Im seeing temps of around 65-75 on the gpu and 35-50 on the cpu which is warmer than my phanteks pro by around 10-15 but still not bad considering whats crammed in.

Cable managment slot at the front is the only one avaible, never had any problems cable routing but all depends on your psu.

Will get some pics up later if your interested.
