Antec Kuhler 620 noise

just got around to fitting my antec kuhler 620 as i wanted good performance and less noise....

well its all fitted but the pump unit makes a rattling sound like them old external air pumps you used to get on a fish tank years ago.

when i lay my case on the side it shuts up and goes quiet again

i take it that its a faulty unit? or are they meant to do that? :confused:

Sounds like a faulty pump? Did you return this?

What's your setup and temps like if you don't mind? Cheers.

yeah its being rma'd

it was around 35c at idle and around 64c max on one cores the others were around 55 on a stock i7 2600k i dont think it was settled in yet though as the noise was more anoying then a stock fan so i removed it

Ok thanks. Temps don't sound that impressive but as you say it may not have been working correctly anyway. Glad to hear it's being RMA'd.

Thats far too high on stock, its faulty.

As a note, says 1.36v in realtemp and 4.5Ghz @ 64c

That's for my 620.
