Hi,

Im not sure if this is the right section to post this but I am using the Antec Kuhler 920

I recently purchased this and im having a few issues that I cant seem to fix.

Once logged into my system the fan speed shows up as 0000 RPM (in the chill control software) and I get a warning in the bottom right hand corner. The fans are working fine. When the cpu gets any load then the fans get a little louder and fan speed shows up as anything around 2000 RPM. When the cpu is idle agian the fan speed again goes back to 0000 RPm and warning pops up again. Again, the fans are still working but a little quieter than when there is load on the cpu.

I only seem to have some control when im using the Silent preset (the above). If I change to Custom the fan goes to full throttle and pump speed is 3000 RPM. This happens irrespective of there being any load on the CPU. In the Custom profile I cant seem to change anything.

NOTE: My mobo has a 4 pin CPU power header and the Kuhler cabe is a 3 pin head. Could this have some kind of affect on how its working?

I did go into the BIOS and changed the CPU Smart FAN Mode to 'Voltage' as leaving it on Auto or PWM made the fans run full throttle when logged in

Sorry for the late reply

I have installed the latest software and drivers and still the same issue. I have reinstalled Windows 7 and installed the newest drivers and same

The usb cabe is plugged into the usb header on the motherboard. I have plugged it into another usb header and same issue.

I have tried plugging the 3 pin into different headers but this results in the fans and pump running full throttle irrespective of which profile I use.

One thing I noticed is that my software looks slightly different to the screenshots I have seen on the internet. In the sound level section I dont have any measures (min, max average). Its blank with just the reader.

Any advice? I might just get a refund on this...

that's normal, mine does the same the download version of the s/ware does show the decibel reading as it does with the CD.

I'd contact Antec support directly, sounds like you'll need to RMA it as faulty.
