Soo my raijintek AIO went to the land beyond. Bought the h1200 antec jobbie currently stress testing but on a 4790k at 4.8ghz running at 67 degrees so happy with the replacement.

The fans how ever have a stupid blue led. Can I just snip the cable on the Leds? Or are they closed loop and screw the fans?

Cheers

It's hard to tell, I have the same aio but I swapped them out for some corsair sp 120s.

Looking at the fans there is a black cable for the fan to connect the mobo and then each led has its own cable that runs to the middle of the fan.

You maybe able to cut one of the metal bits that connect to the led but unsure if this will effect anything else.

Other option is to use something like electrical tape and cover the leds? Maybe a bit of a pain but then you can remove this if you decide to move on the aio

Generally the LEDs are somewhat separate from the drive control circuitry of the fan. You should find the LEDs are individually powered from a 12v circuit on the PCB so potentially interrupting the 12v feed could take all LED outs without affecting the fan's operation.

Otherwise and somewhat easier you could pop the LEDs out at the corners. They are usually held in with a touch of hot glue or similar.

If the wiring is available at the corners you could also snip one of them. If you do this make sure you are able to solder them back together afterwards, just in case the fan uses some sort of non conventional method to power the fans. Also make sure you don't allow the cut ends to short out, that won't be good.
