Hi all

Was looking originally at getting a antec mini p180 and getting just an gtx460 but now i tempted to get a 5850, does anyone know if you could fit 2 x 5850 in this case or is it too small for that.

If anyone has a setup like this please post details as i would be interested in what mobo you chose.

Thanks in advance

Jamie

Erm i found one in about 2 seconds of looking, P55 ASUS Maximus Gene III supports CF and SLI and has a 16x and 8x slot, you cant install any other cards in it but you can do dual dual slot gpu.

Ignoring the FUD above, yes it will take dual gpu just as long as you remove the drive bay directly in front of it and mount a fan there (it has a space) it should have enough airflow to keep dual gpus at a relatively useful temperature.

Not my pic, grabbed it off google images but it is possible if you use a front fan.

Its up to you, if you have rear exhaust cards and a front intake fan they line up so airflow shouldnt be a problem, but i dont have any evidence to back that up.

The mini P180 is a lovely case but CF 5850s would be very tight. I've looked down this route myself but I am more than happy with the performance of my single 5850 clocked to 900/1200 stock volts :)
