The Antec WEDGE comes in a tiny plastic box.

On the rear we have some of the specs which include,

• Bluetooth 2.1
• Bluetooth Range 30ft (10M)
• 400mAh rechargeable lithium-polymer battery
• Playback time up to 4hrs
• Built-in microphone
• Dimensions 74 x 63 x 54mm and 130g in weight

Included with the WEDGE are

• User manual and warranty card.
• USB charging cable.
• 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable.

I choose the white+gold version of the WEDGE but black and all white are also available.

The unit feels weighty for its size and helps it support heavier tablets or phones I would imagine very well using its suction cups, these are very good too.

On this side is one half of the stereo speakers and a 3.5mm input and a mini USB port for charging the battery.

There is a hidden LED behind the grill which indicates,

• Red for charging.
• Blue & blinking fast for waiting Bluetooth connection.
• Blue & blinking slow for connected via Bluetooth.
• Blue & solid for connected via audio cable.

This side has the other speaker and power ON/OFF

It is picked up via Bluetooth with this name.

It has no trouble holding my phone up.

Or even in landscape orientation.

Sound and conclusion.

Here is a short clip I put together hopefully giving a good indication of how funky this little WEDGE is.

For £15 this is an amazing little product, it is very loud in fact it is louder than I expected it to be for such a small sized item.

It is stereo sound (despite my video above being recorded in mono) and clear and clean.

So it is small and portable, loud for its compactness and handy.

I am giving this a gold award for ticking all the boxes and costing so little.

Good review stulid

AS a heads up these will be £10.79 inc. on this week only from wednesday.

Wish it had a ledge on the wedge (boom-tish) instead of suckers, love the idea though would have been all over this a month ago before I bought my bluetooth speaker :(

At times like this it makes me half annoyed and half relived that I don't get free postage from OCUK yet, because I must admit these things look ace, but don't think I could convince the misses I'd need one.

Are these USB 2.1 or 3, as they say 3 on the OCUK page but 2.1 above.
Also do you know if these will work via bluetooth from an iphone?

At a price of £10.79, you can count on me getting one for sure. Battery life could be better, as if its rated for 4 hours, you're prob's only getting 3. Still, can just leave it plugged in!

That does look like quite a sweet lil product, think I too will be getting one tomorrow :)

Review was nicely done btw :)

No they won't charge the docked phone, its only stuck on with suction cups. You'd need a micro USB to charge the speaker and then another one to charge your phone/tablet.

Would be nice to see a more upmarket one with wireless charging :D!

Ooh, I've been looking for a decent bluetooth speaker like this. I am a bit concerned about battery life though. I don't really care about the stand aspect. I might actually pick one up, though I would be looking for a more long term PC compatible speaker solution.
