This power supply wont run my computer with a 2900XT. The 2900XT seems to be drawing too much power from the PSU so I'm sending it back because it constantly locks my computer up. Would a Corsair 520W be sufficient to run my system?

Also does anyone know whether the newer batches of the Corsair 520W come with the 8pin pci-e plug?

Yes, easily, even with cpu and gfx overclocked.

All newer models of the Corsair 520w PSU come with the 8pin pci-e connector, but I guess when you order one there is no way to know if you'll get one although I think you should since they added in the 8pin adaptors a while back now and most of the 6pin stock should have gone.
